We have an opportunity to help a precious ministry in our county.  Kinsman Redeemer is a homeless ministry based out of the Charlotte and Vanleer area.  They provide many services to those without a permanent home in our county. 

As the winter temperatures have set in, they are in desperate need right now of these items:

• Food items:
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Tuna kits
  • Vienna Sausages
  • Canned pastas
  • Dried fruit
  • Nuts
  • Granola bars, cereal bars
  • Pop tarts
  • Individual bags of chips
  • Fruit cups
  • Ramen noodles
  • Beef jerky
  • Snack cakes
• Gallon and Quart sized Ziploc bags
• Plastic forks and spoon and napkins

 

 For the month of January we will be collecting every Sunday these items for them. Please pass this info to your classes and ask them to begin bringing these items to Guest Central.  Every week we will take a delivery to the Kinsman Redeemer Ministry in Charlotte.
